Membership Application

MEMA dues amount are determined by the number of gallons reported (prior year or a representative year) of all retail heating oil, propane & kerosene gallons sold.

The following formula is used to calculate your MEMA dues:

* 0.001021 cents per gallon on the 1^st 10 million gallons 

* 0.000864 cents per gallon on the 2^nd 10 million gallons

* 13% is included for EMA Dues

* Maximum MEMA/EMA dues are $18,797 * Minimum MEMA/EMA dues are $1,000

All companies that do not sell heating oil or propane at retail, and do not sell petroleum products at wholesale, fall into the Associate Member – Equipment, Supply, Service & Commercial Transportation category.

MEMA dues are based on the number of your employees:

* 1-10  Employees = $525

* 10+   Employees = $1050

All companies who do not sell heating oil or propane at retail, but who do primarily sell petroleum products at wholesale, fall into the Associate Member – Major Oil Co. & Wholesale category.

* MEMA dues are a flat rate of $4,925

All companies who primarily sell motor fuels fall into the Associate Member - Convenience Store category.

MEMA dues are based on the number of stores owned:

* 1-3    Stores = $311

* 4+     Stores = $311 + ($60 per store over 3 stores)
