About the Tournament:

Thank you for your interest in the 32nd Annual J. Garrie Murray Golf Tournament. Long-time MEMA member J. Garrie Murray of Webber Oil felt there was no better way to secure the future of our industry than by raising funds in support of the MEMA Education Foundation. In the last three decades, the tournament has raised over $320,000 thanks to you and your companies! We look forward to watching this number grow in 2025.

About MEMA Technical Education Center:

MTEC is part of the MEMA Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 and an HVAC-R technical training facility located in Brunswick, licensed by the Maine State Department of Education, approved by the VA for GI Benefits, and supported by a network of over 300 hiring energy companies throughout Maine and New Hampshire.

Since 2004, MTEC's 2,400-square-foot training lab has provided a comprehensive, hands-on learning environment that allows students to train on the various types of equipment they will see in the field. In 2017, a $225,000, 1,800 square foot addition opened, enhancing the hands-on training and increasing the number of students we can train.

MTEC programs and operations are overseen by an all-volunteer Education Foundation Committee, comprised of business owners and professionals currently working in the industry. MTEC offers certifications and licensing preparation in Oilheat, Propane, Natural Gas, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heat Pumps, and more.
