BRUNSWICK, Maine — February 12, 2025 — This Valentine’s Day, members of the Maine Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) are coming together to bring warmth and relief to families in need. Through the 10th annual Fuel Your Love campaign, fuel dealers from across Maine will surprise customers facing financial hardships with free heating fuel, ensuring they stay warm during one of the coldest winters in recent history.

MEMA, a nonprofit trade association representing over 300 members, including 125 heating oil, propane, biofuel, pellet, electric, and motor fuel providers, as well as convenience store owners, is dedicated to supporting Maine communities. With subfreezing temperatures gripping the region, the need for heating assistance has never been greater.

On February 14th, participating fuel companies—including Atlantic Heating Company, Bob’s Cash Fuel, Colby & Gale, Dead River Company, Dixfield Discount Fuel, Eastern Propane & Oil, Fielding’s Oil & Propane, M.W. Sewall, RH Foster Energy, Sail Energy, and V.L. Tammaro—will hit the road to top off the oil tanks of Maine families who need an extra dose of warmth this season. Additional sponsors of this event include Haffner’s Energy and H.O. Bouchard.
