This class prepares the technician for both the Maine State Journeyman and Master's level exams.

Please bring your NORA Silver Manual, NFPA 31 (2011) to class. 

About MTEC's Oilheat Technician Training Program:

With MTEC’s Oilheat Technician Training Course, in only five weeks, you will earn your certificate of completion and be on the fast track to passing the Maine State Journeyman’s Oil Burner exam. The completion of this program also eliminates 6-months of the required 1 year oilheat technician apprenticeship. 

The Maine State Journeyman’s Oil Burner exam can be administered at the MTEC facility. MTEC also provides a one-day refresher course for students who need to review materials before taking the state exam.  Learn More >.
